TOURNAMENT INFORMATION The Old Baldy Club is excited to host the Two Man Match Play once again this year Thursday, June 14 – Saturday, June 16
with check-out after play on Saturday. The Two-Man Match Play Championship is an entertaining format with flights
determined by total team index. Flights will be made up of six teams, and teams within a flight will play a nine-hole Four Ball
(Best Ball Match Play) match against the other five teams in the flight. Three nine-hole matches will be played on Friday and two
nine-hole matches will be played on Saturday. Each match is worth ten points, one point per hole and one bonus point for the 9
hole match. 1 point for winning a hole, ˝ point for a tied hole. If match is tied at the conclusion of 9 holes each team will receive
˝ bonus point. Flight winners will be determined by the total points accumulated over the five matches with each flight winner
qualifying for the Championship Shoot-Out after lunch Friday. The designated practice round and room check-in is Thursday.
Again in 2018, parimutuel wagering will be available for the shoot-out. Teams will be entered on a first come first entered basis. The first 24 teams to sign-up will be accepted. All other teams will be put
on a wait list. Teams on the wait list will be entered in the order received. Teams will be entered either if a team from the first 24
teams drop out or if additional teams on the wait list equal six to add an additional full flight. If you’re playing partner is not on our invitation list, contact us with his name, address and email address at
[email protected] or call Judy Welton at 307-326-3919 and we will email an invitation and entry card to him. We have combined the Two Man Match Play and the Spring Invitational Tournament and will only host this one Match Play
tournament this spring. TOURNAMENT FEES Member In-house rate is $625 and Member Out of house rate is $313; Non-Member In-house rate is $775 and *NonMember
Out of house rate is $468. All packages are based on double occupancy and includes two nights lodging, seven meals
beginning with lunch on the practice round day and ending with lunch after the final competition round, tournament favors and
flight prizes. (*Non Member Out of house rate is specifically for OBC Village & in-town Member’s house guests.) For anyone wishing to come a day early and/or stay a day later we have established a special rate of $170 per person which
